Pneumatic Concrete MixerPan Type Concrete Mixer | Double Acting
STANDART: TS EN 1766
LT-C0099/P Pan Type Concrete Mixer | Double Acting
Double-Acting Pneumatic Concrete Mixer is designed for the fast, homogeneous and controlled preparation of small-volume concrete mixes in laboratory environments. The system features a 42-litre pan capacity, while the effective mixing capacity is specified as 15/12 litres. The pan and mixing paddle rotate in opposite directions, supporting a more homogeneous distribution of the concrete components within a shorter mixing time. Two pneumatic pistons facilitate the controlled movement of the upper cover and lower pan. The joystick and pedal-assisted structure provides practical operation during loading, mixing and discharge.

Homogeneous Sample Preparation with a Pneumatic Concrete Mixer
The Pneumatic Concrete Mixer is designed for the controlled preparation of small-volume concrete mixes in laboratory environments. The system is particularly suitable for laboratory studies investigating the effects of different concrete constituents on mix performance. It enables users to prepare repeatable small concrete batches under consistent mixing conditions.
The double-action system operates differently from conventional single-direction mixers. While the pan rotates in one direction, the mixing paddle moves in the opposite direction. This counter-rotating action creates more intensive movement of the materials inside the pan. Similar professional laboratory mixing systems use this principle to achieve a more homogeneous mixture within a shorter mixing period.
42-Litre Pan Capacity
The mixing pan has a geometrical capacity of 42 litres. However, the effective mixing capacity is specified as 15/12 litres. Rather than filling the entire pan with concrete, sufficient free volume is maintained to allow the materials to move effectively during mixing. This enables the paddle to circulate and blend the constituents more efficiently.
The 42-litre pan configuration provides a practical solution for preparing controlled laboratory batches without requiring large quantities of material.
Counter-Rotating Mixing System
The mixing paddle rotates in the opposite direction to the pan. This prevents the material from simply circulating around the perimeter of the pan. Instead, the mixture is continuously forced in different directions.
This movement supports a more uniform distribution of cement, aggregate, water and other constituents throughout the concrete mixture.
The operator can also adjust the pan rotation speed through the electrical control panel. This allows the mixing conditions to be adapted according to different concrete compositions and laboratory requirements.
Pneumatic Cover and Pan Control
The system incorporates two pneumatic pistons that assist the movement of the upper cover and lower pan. The operator can control the mechanism using the joystick.
After completion of the mixing process, the lower pan can be positioned for discharge and the prepared concrete mixture can be emptied with the assistance of the pedal-operated mechanism.
This configuration improves usability during repetitive laboratory operations and reduces the need for continuous manual handling of heavy moving components.
Use in Laboratory Concrete Testing
Controlled and repeatable preparation of concrete mixtures is important when producing reference concrete specimens for laboratory testing. EN 1766 covers reference concretes used in performance testing of products and systems for the protection and repair of concrete structures.
The Pneumatic Concrete Mixer therefore provides a controlled laboratory solution for producing homogeneous small-volume concrete batches. Its 42-litre pan, counter-rotating mixing mechanism, pneumatic control system and pedal-assisted discharge help improve efficiency and repeatability during routine laboratory concrete preparation.
