LT-G0021 Air Jet Sieving Machine
The Air Jet Sieving Machine determines the particle size distribution of fine powders and dry granular materials using a controlled air flow. A vacuum system draws fine particles through the sieve openings, while the rotating air jet helps separate particles and break up agglomerates. The digital control panel allows precise adjustment of sieving time and vacuum level. The machine is suitable for test sieves ranging from 5 to 4000 microns.

What Is an Air Jet Sieving Machine?
The Air Jet Sieving Machine determines the particle size distribution of fine powders and dry granular materials. The system operates with a controlled air flow generated beneath the sieve. At the same time, the vacuum unit draws small particles through the sieve openings.
Traditional mechanical sieving may not provide sufficient separation for very fine or agglomerated samples. In contrast, the air jet system continuously moves and disperses the particles. Therefore, laboratories can achieve more consistent and repeatable test results.
Controlled Air Flow and Vacuum
The machine separates fine particles by combining air movement with controlled suction. The rotating air jet continuously distributes the sample across the sieve surface. The vacuum then pulls particles of the appropriate size through the sieve openings.
The operator can adjust the vacuum level between 0 and 65 mbar. This flexibility allows the machine to work with materials of different densities and particle structures. In addition, controlled pressure conditions help maintain stable suction throughout the test.
Digital Microprocessor Control
The digital control panel manages the main test parameters from a single interface. The operator can select a sieving time between 0 and 99 minutes. The system also provides vacuum adjustment and calibration functions.
This digital structure reduces differences caused by manual settings. Moreover, operators can repeat the same test parameters for multiple samples. As a result, laboratories can obtain more comparable and reliable data.
Self-Cleaning Filter Cartridge
The vacuum system uses a specially designed self-cleaning filter cartridge. The filter limits the transfer of fine dust into the vacuum system. Its cleaning mechanism also helps extend the operating life of the filter.
Five dust collection boxes collect the material passing through the sieve. In addition, the transparent plexiglass cover keeps the sample inside the test area and allows the operator to observe the sieving process safely.
Wide Particle Size Range
The Air Jet Sieving Machine can operate with suitable test sieves ranging from 5 to 4000 microns. This wide range supports quality control and particle classification for many fine powders and dry granular materials.
Selecting the correct sieve diameter and aperture size is important for obtaining reliable results.
Sieving According to EN 933-10
EN 933-10:2009 describes the determination of particle size distribution of filler aggregates using air jet sieving. The method is particularly suitable for fine aggregate materials where conventional sieving may be less effective.
The LT-G0021 Air Jet Sieving Machine combines controlled vacuum, digital operation and effective filtration in a compact system. Therefore, it provides laboratories with a practical solution for accurate and repeatable fine particle classification tests.
