The Rotary Sample Divider automatically divides powdered and granular laboratory materials into eight representative subsamples. Its stainless steel feed hopper and magnetic vibratory feeder provide a controlled material flow to the rotating dividing system.
- Eight-way sample division: Produces eight individual subsamples during one operating cycle.
- 8 × 250 ml configuration: The LT-M0611 is equipped with eight graduated 250 ml sample bottles.
- Additional bottle options: Available with 8 × 500 ml and 8 × 1000 ml configurations.
- High division accuracy: Liya Test specifies approximately ±1% division accuracy with the 250 ml bottle configuration.
- 0–10 mm feed size: Suitable for free-flowing powder and granular materials.
- 8 litre feed hopper: Stainless steel hopper holds the bulk sample before division.
- Magnetic vibratory feeder: Transfers material continuously and uniformly to the dividing mechanism.
- Automatic sample division: Reduces manual handling during laboratory sample preparation.
- Geared drive system: Powered by a 0.5 HP, 1400 rpm electric motor.
- Power supply: 380 V, 3 Ph, 50 Hz.
- Laboratory applications: Suitable for minerals, ores, sand and other free-flowing granular or powdered materials.

What Is a Rotary Sample Divider?
The Rotary Sample Divider 8 × 250 ml automatically divides powdered and granular bulk materials into eight representative laboratory subsamples. The system combines a rotating dividing mechanism with controlled vibratory feeding to distribute the material consistently between the collection bottles.
The LT-M0611 is equipped with eight graduated 250 ml sample bottles. Liya Test also offers 8 × 500 ml and 8 × 1000 ml configurations for laboratories requiring larger subsample quantities.
Eight Representative Subsamples
During operation, the rotating system continuously moves the collection bottles through the material stream. This process distributes successive portions of the sample between eight separate containers.
Liya Test specifies approximately ±1% division accuracy for the 250 ml bottle configuration. However, material flowability, moisture and particle-size distribution can influence actual division performance.
For consistent results, laboratories should maintain stable feeding conditions and use free-flowing material whenever possible.
Magnetic Vibratory Feeding
The Rotary Sample Divider includes an 8 litre stainless steel feed hopper and a magnetic vibratory feeder. The operator places the bulk sample inside the hopper before starting the dividing process.
The vibratory feeder transfers material progressively to the rotating section rather than releasing the complete sample at once. This controlled flow helps distribute the material more evenly between the eight collection bottles.
0–10 mm Feed Size
The LT-M0611 processes materials with particle sizes between approximately 0 and 10 mm. This range makes the unit suitable for mineral, ore, sand and other granular or powdered laboratory samples.
Samples should flow freely through the feed system. Excessive moisture or sticky material may disturb the feeding pattern and reduce division consistency.
Three Bottle Configurations
The product family provides three collection-volume options.
The LT-M0611 uses eight 250 ml bottles. The LT-M0611/1 uses eight 500 ml bottles, while the LT-M0611/2 provides eight 1000 ml bottles. This allows laboratories to select the required configuration according to the amount of material needed for subsequent analysis.
Motor and Power Supply
The current Liya Test Turkish product page specifies a 0.5 HP motor operating at approximately 1400 rpm with a geared drive system.
The machine requires a 380 V, three-phase, 50 Hz electrical supply.
Overall, the LT-M0611 Rotary Sample Divider combines eight-way division, magnetic vibratory feeding and multiple bottle-volume options. Therefore, mining and material-testing laboratories can reduce bulk samples efficiently while producing smaller, more representative subsamples for analysis.
