    Description

What Is a Refrigerated Circulating Water Bath?

The Refrigerated Circulating Water Bath provides controlled temperature conditioning for bituminous mixtures and various construction materials. The system combines heating and cooling functions in a single laboratory unit. Therefore, operators can create suitable test conditions for different sample types.

The bath offers a wide operating range from -10 °C to +99.9 °C. This flexibility supports laboratory procedures that require both low and elevated temperatures. In addition, the digital control system helps maintain stable conditions throughout the conditioning process.

    Precise Temperature Control

A PID and microprocessor-controlled system continuously regulates the bath temperature. A PT100 temperature sensor monitors the water and provides feedback to the controller. As a result, the system achieves approximately ±0.1 °C temperature accuracy.

The PLC thermostat includes an LCD display for easy operation. Users can adjust temperature, cooling and timing parameters directly from the control panel. The display also allows operators to monitor current operating values during testing.

    Uniform Water Circulation

An integrated circulation pump continuously moves water throughout the chamber. This circulation distributes heated or cooled water evenly around the samples.

Uniform water movement helps reduce local temperature differences. Therefore, multiple samples placed inside the bath can remain under similar conditioning conditions. Stable circulation also supports faster achievement of the selected operating temperature.

    Stainless Steel and Insulated Construction

All internal surfaces that come into contact with water are made of stainless steel. The perforated sample tray and top cover also provide corrosion-resistant construction.

Double-layer thermal insulation helps minimise energy loss through the body. This structure supports stable temperature conditions while improving operating efficiency. Smooth stainless steel surfaces also simplify routine cleaning and maintenance.

    Different Capacity Options

The Refrigerated Circulating Water Bath is available in 15, 30 and 48 litre capacities. Laboratories can therefore select the most suitable model according to sample quantity and daily testing requirements.

Four adjustable feet provide stable positioning on laboratory benches. The robust construction also supports intensive use in testing facilities.

    Laboratory Conditioning Applications

The Refrigerated Circulating Water Bath is suitable for asphalt laboratories, universities, construction material testing centres and quality control laboratories.

Overall, the system combines precise temperature control, effective water circulation and durable construction. Therefore, laboratories can condition samples under controlled and repeatable temperature conditions before testing.
