What Is a Laboratory Flotation Machine?

The Laboratory Flotation Machine is designed for mineral separation and beneficiation studies on ore samples. The system mixes a prepared mineral suspension while introducing flotation conditions that allow selected mineral particles to separate from the remaining material.

The LT-M0614 Flotation Machine provides adjustable agitation, interchangeable flotation cells and digital speed monitoring. Therefore, mineral-processing laboratories can compare different operating conditions under controlled laboratory-scale conditions.

Adjustable 700–2800 rpm Impeller Speed

The impeller speed can be continuously adjusted between 700 and 2800 rpm. The operator selects the required speed according to the sample characteristics and test procedure.

A digital electronic speed indicator displays the actual operating value. This allows laboratories to maintain consistent agitation conditions between repeated tests.

The variable-speed system is driven through a V-belt arrangement connected to a 1 HP, 1400 rpm motor.

250–2000 g Sample Capacity

The machine can process approximately 250 to 2000 grams of material in a single test.
