What Is a Heated Magnetic Stirrer?
The Heated Magnetic Stirrer heats laboratory solutions while simultaneously mixing them. Its magnetic system rotates a stirring bar placed inside the vessel. Therefore, the sample continuously moves and mixes during the heating process.
The unit can work with liquids, semi-solid materials and samples with different viscosities. In addition, the operator can control temperature and stirring speed independently. This structure provides flexible operating conditions for various laboratory applications.
Independent Speed and Temperature Control
The operator can adjust the stirring speed between 100 and 2000 rpm. Lower speeds provide controlled mixing for sensitive solutions. Higher speeds, on the other hand, help disperse more concentrated mixtures efficiently.
The system also provides heating up to 380 °C. Users can select the required temperature according to the sample properties and test procedure. As a result, a single unit performs both heating and stirring operations.
Analog and Digital Model Options
The LT-Go246 Analog Heated Magnetic Stirrer provides practical control for routine laboratory applications. The operator adjusts temperature and speed using the controls on the unit.
The LT-Go247 Digital Heated Magnetic Stirrer allows easier monitoring and adjustment of operating parameters. Both models offer the same stirring capacity, temperature range and speed range. Therefore, laboratories can choose the model that best suits their preferred control method.
Ceramic Heating Plate
The 19 × 19 cm ceramic hot plate provides sufficient space for various laboratory vessels. Its flat surface helps position containers securely during operation.
The ceramic construction also simplifies routine cleaning. After completing the process, the operator should allow the surface to cool before cleaning it with a suitable laboratory cloth.
15–20 Litre Stirring Capacity
The series offers a stirring capacity of approximately 15–20 litres. Actual performance may vary depending on liquid viscosity, vessel geometry and the size of the magnetic stirring bar.
For stable operation, the operator should select a suitable vessel and stirring bar. Placing the container in the centre of the hot plate also helps maintain a reliable magnetic connection.
Laboratory Applications
The Heated Magnetic Stirrer supports solution preparation, sample conditioning, general mixing and heating procedures. It can also be used as supporting laboratory equipment in various testing applications.
Overall, the unit combines a wide 100–2000 rpm speed range, heating up to 380 °C and a compact design. Therefore, laboratories can perform routine sample preparation and mixing operations efficiently and consistently.
