Single-Shaft Mixer with Motorized Discharge
STANDART: ASTM C192 / EN 12390-2
LT-C0094 Single-Shaft Mixer with Motorized Discharge
Single-Shaft Mixer with Motorized Discharge is designed for the homogeneous preparation of concrete and mortar mixtures under laboratory conditions. The helical mixing shaft continuously moves the material inside the fixed mixing pan, helping cement, aggregate, water and admixtures distribute evenly throughout the mixture. An adjustable speed control system supports different mix designs, while the motorized discharge mechanism allows the prepared material to be emptied quickly and in a controlled manner.

What Is a Single-Shaft Concrete Mixer?
The Single-Shaft Concrete Mixer is designed to prepare homogeneous concrete and mortar mixtures under laboratory conditions. A helical mixing shaft rotates inside the fixed pan and continuously moves the material throughout the mixing chamber. As a result, cement, aggregate, water and admixtures can distribute more evenly within the mixture.
The machine is particularly useful for dense or low-workability mixtures. In addition, its adjustable speed system allows laboratories to adapt the mixing process to different material compositions and mix designs.
96-Liter Feeding Capacity
The LT-C0094 provides a 96-liter feeding capacity and a 60-liter discharge capacity. This working volume supports both routine laboratory applications and larger specimen-preparation programs.
The mixing shaft operates at 48 rpm. Its helical geometry moves the material continuously along the pan and helps reduce stagnant areas during mixing.
Scraper blades also limit material accumulation on the internal surfaces. Therefore, the system supports more consistent mixing throughout the entire batch.
Controlled Single-Shaft Mixing
The helical shaft creates continuous material movement inside the fixed mixing pan. This action helps combine dry components before and during the addition of water.
The adjustable speed control allows the operator to adapt the mixing process to the characteristics of the material. For example, dry materials can initially be mixed at a more controlled speed. The operator can then adjust the operating conditions as the mixture develops.
This flexibility helps laboratories prepare different concrete and mortar formulations under consistent conditions.
Safety Cover and Controlled Operation
The upper safety cover encloses the mixing area and helps restrict direct access to moving components during operation. At the same time, the design allows the user to monitor the mixing process.
Water or admixtures can also be introduced according to the required preparation procedure. The rigid frame helps maintain stability while the shaft mixes dense and heavy materials.
These features support safer and more controlled day-to-day laboratory operation.
Motorized Discharge System
After mixing, the operator activates the discharge mechanism from the control system. The motorized discharge system allows the prepared concrete or mortar to leave the mixing chamber in a controlled manner.
This feature reduces the need for manual handling of heavy mixtures. In addition, controlled discharge makes it easier to transfer the prepared material into specimen moulds or suitable containers.
As a result, laboratories can shorten the time between mixing and specimen preparation.
Mobile and Durable Construction
The machine is mounted on a mobile frame with rubber wheels, allowing it to be repositioned within the laboratory when required.
The LT-C0094 measures approximately 150 × 100 × 100 cm and weighs about 200 kg. Its rigid structure supports stable operation during intensive mixing.
The system operates on 380 V, 50–60 Hz, three-phase power, making it suitable for laboratory environments equipped with industrial electrical infrastructure.
Laboratory Concrete and Mortar Preparation
ASTM C192/C192M covers procedures for preparing and mixing concrete in the laboratory, as well as making and curing concrete test specimens.
The mixer can also support specimen-preparation workflows associated with EN 12390-2, provided that laboratories follow the relevant requirements for concrete specimen preparation and compaction.
Therefore, the equipment provides a practical solution for laboratories that require controlled and repeatable preparation of concrete and mortar mixtures.
Reliable Mixing and Efficient Discharge
The Single-Shaft Concrete Mixer combines a helical mixing mechanism, adjustable operating conditions and motorized discharge in one robust laboratory system.
With its 96-liter feeding capacity, 60-liter discharge capacity and 48 rpm mixing speed, the LT-C0094 supports efficient preparation of different concrete and mortar formulations.
As a result, laboratories can produce homogeneous mixtures and transfer them quickly for subsequent specimen preparation and testing.
