    Description

    What Are Laboratory Ovens?

Laboratory Ovens dry construction material samples under controlled temperature conditions. They also support sample conditioning and constant-mass drying procedures. Therefore, aggregate, soil, rock, cement and asphalt laboratories can use these ovens for a wide range of routine applications.

The product range includes capacities from 30 to 4600 litres. This variety allows laboratories to select a suitable model according to their daily sample volume. All models operate from ambient temperature up to 200 °C.

    Fan-Assisted Uniform Heat Distribution

An integrated circulation fan continuously moves heated air throughout the chamber. This airflow helps reduce temperature differences between shelves. As a result, samples positioned at different levels receive more consistent heating.

Ventilation openings also help remove moisture from the chamber during drying. Proper spacing between samples further improves air circulation and supports efficient operation.

    Digital PID Temperature Control

The digital PID controller continuously monitors the chamber temperature. The operator sets the required value directly from the control panel. The system then automatically adjusts the heater output to maintain stable operating conditions.

A direct-reading display allows easy monitoring of both set and actual temperatures. In addition, an independent over-temperature thermostat provides extra operational safety.

    Stainless Steel and Insulated Chamber

The internal chamber uses stainless steel construction. This surface provides good corrosion resistance and simplifies cleaning after laboratory operations.

Insulation between the double walls helps reduce heat transfer to the surrounding environment. Meanwhile, the electrostatic powder-coated exterior provides a durable surface for intensive laboratory use.

    Different Capacities and Shelf Options

The series includes 30, 50, 120, 250, 500, 700, 1000 and 4600 litre models. Depending on capacity, each model includes between 2 and 5 shelves.

Smaller ovens provide a practical solution for benchtop applications and routine sample quantities. Larger models support laboratories and testing facilities with greater daily sample throughput.

    Drying According to Laboratory Standards

EN 1097-5 covers procedures related to the determination of water content in aggregates using controlled drying. Laboratory ovens can also support moisture determination and sample preparation procedures referenced by various ASTM standards for aggregate and soil testing.

The applicable temperature, drying time and sample preparation method should always follow the selected test standard.

Overall, Laboratory Ovens combine wide capacity options, forced air circulation and precise digital temperature control. Therefore, laboratories can perform routine drying and conditioning processes in a controlled, practical and repeatable manner.
