What Are Laboratory Hot Plates?
Laboratory Hot Plates support general heating, pre-drying and conditioning of laboratory samples. The operator places the sample container on the heating surface and then adjusts the temperature according to the required procedure.
The product range offers different plate dimensions and control systems. Therefore, laboratories can select the most suitable model according to sample volume, vessel size and frequency of use.
Analog and Digital Control Options
Digital models display the selected temperature and current plate temperature. This feature allows the operator to monitor the heating process more easily. In addition, the digital thermostat provides temperature control with an accuracy of approximately ±2 °C.
Analog models operate with a mechanical thermostat. The operator adjusts the temperature using the control knob. These models provide approximately ±5 °C temperature accuracy. Therefore, they offer a simple and practical solution for routine laboratory heating applications.
Operating Temperature up to 350 °C
The Laboratory Hot Plates operate from ambient temperature up to 350 °C. This wide temperature range supports the preparation and conditioning of aggregate, soil, concrete and various laboratory samples.
The operator should always select the temperature according to the sample container and material properties. Lower temperatures support controlled preheating, while higher temperatures can reduce processing time for suitable materials.
Different Plate and Model Options
The series includes different digital heating plate dimensions. LT-G0241 provides a 30 × 30 cm surface, while LT-G0243 offers a larger 40 × 40 cm working area.
The analog range includes two models. LT-G0244 features a single Ø20 cm heating zone. The LT-G0245 model includes two separate heating zones with Ø15 cm and Ø20 cm diameters. This configuration allows the operator to heat two different vessels when required.
Durable Heating Surface
The heating surface uses a durable cast or sandblasted metal construction. This robust structure supports regular laboratory heating operations and provides a stable area for different laboratory vessels.
The flat design also helps the operator position containers securely during use. Appropriate laboratory vessels should always be selected according to the required operating temperature.
Laboratory Applications
Laboratory Hot Plates can be used for sample heating, liquid temperature adjustment, pre-drying and general conditioning procedures. Compact models save valuable bench space, while larger heating surfaces provide additional working area for bigger laboratory vessels.
Overall, the series combines different plate dimensions, analog or digital control systems and operating temperatures up to 350 °C. Therefore, laboratories can perform routine heating operations in a practical, controlled and efficient manner.
