Description

What Is an Automatic Consolidation Test Machine?

The Automatic Consolidation Test Machine is designed to determine the compression, deformation and swelling behaviour of soil specimens under controlled vertical loading.

One-dimensional consolidation testing is commonly performed using an oedometer arrangement. The soil specimen is laterally restrained and subjected to incremental vertical loads while deformation is monitored over time. The resulting data help geotechnical laboratories evaluate settlement and compressibility characteristics of soils.

Fully Automatic Loading Sequence

The LT-S0255 automatically applies user-defined loading stages after the specimen and test parameters are prepared.

The Turkish Liya Test product description states that the system can perform up to 32 loading stages without continuous operator intervention. It also supports standard consolidation, constant-load swelling and constant-volume swelling procedures.
