What Is a V Type Mixer?

The V Type Mixer is designed for controlled mixing of dry powders and granular materials. The rotating V-shaped vessel continuously divides the product into separate streams and then recombines them during each rotation.

This movement creates regular redistribution of material throughout the vessel without requiring high-speed cutting or mixing blades. As a result, the system is suitable for mineral, chemical, food, medical and other industrial powder-processing applications.

Liya Test offers the V Type Mixer in 100, 300 and 500 litre configurations.

100, 300 and 500 L Capacity Options

The LT-M1297 provides a nominal capacity of 100 L. The LT-M1298 increases this to 300 L, while the LT-M1299 offers a 500 L vessel for higher-volume applications.

These capacity alternatives allow users to select a mixer according to production volume and batch requirements.

Liya Test also states that customised configurations can be produced for sector-specific applications. Vessel material, filling arrangement and surface finish may therefore be adapted according to project requirements.

Adjustable 0–12 rpm Mixing Speed

The mixing vessel operates at an adjustable speed between 0 and 12 rpm.

The operator can select the rotational speed according to material characteristics and the required mixing process. Lower-speed operation allows dry powders and granules to move gradually through the vessel.

Mixing performance can vary according to fill level, particle size, bulk density and mixing time. Therefore, laboratories and production facilities should establish suitable operating parameters for each material group.

V-Shaped Mixing Vessel

The characteristic V-shaped vessel promotes repeated separation and recombination of the material during rotation.

After mixing is completed, the vessel can be brought to a suitable discharge position. A quick-release arrangement then assists with removal of the prepared product.
