The Wilfley Type Shaking Table is designed for wet gravimetric concentration and separation of fine mineral and ore samples. The system combines controlled table motion, water flow and adjustable lateral inclination to separate particles according to differences in specific gravity.

What Is a Wilfley Type Shaking Table?

The Wilfley Type Shaking Table is designed for wet gravimetric separation and concentration of mineral and ore samples. The system uses differences in particle density to separate valuable minerals from lighter material.

During operation, prepared material moves across an inclined table surface together with water. At the same time, the table performs a controlled reciprocating motion. The combined effect of table movement, water flow and gravity causes particles with different physical properties to follow different paths.

The LT-M8875 Wilfley Type Shaking Table is suitable for laboratory and pilot-scale mineral-processing studies where controlled gravity separation is required.

Adjustable 0–365 Strokes/Min Operation

The shaking speed is continuously adjustable between 0 and 365 strokes per minute. This allows the operator to adapt the table movement to different particle sizes, densities and processing conditions.

The shaking mechanism uses a cam-and-follower arrangement. Motor movement is transmitted through a V-belt drive, creating controlled forward and backward motion across the working surface.

7.5 and 15 mm Stroke Options

The system provides 7.5 mm and 15 mm stroke lengths.

Operators can change the relevant cam to select the required stroke. Different stroke settings allow the table motion to be adapted to various mineral characteristics.

The lateral table inclination is also continuously adjustable. Therefore, shaking speed, stroke, water flow and table angle can be combined to create suitable separation conditions.

Polyester-Coated Working Surface

The working table is manufactured from steel sheet and finished with a gel polyester coating. Liya Test specifies table dimensions of approximately 50 × 100 × 35 cm.

Separated mineral fractions are collected using AISI 304 stainless steel collectors. This arrangement allows concentrate, intermediate products and tailings to be handled separately after the test.

Water Flow and Working Capacity

The Wilfley Type Shaking Table operates with approximately 200 L/h water circulation. The official product information specifies a maximum working capacity of approximately 25 kg/h.

Actual separation performance can vary according to particle size, density distribution, feed rate and selected table settings.

Motor and Electrical Requirements

The system uses a 1.5 HP, 900 rpm electric motor. Liya Test specifies an electrical supply of 220 V, three phase, 50 Hz.
