Digital Platform Scales for Heavy-Duty Weighing
Digital Platform Scales provide reliable weighing for heavy and bulky samples in laboratories, production facilities and field applications. The product range offers maximum capacities from 60 kg to 600 kg, allowing users to select a suitable model according to sample size and required readability.
The large weighing platforms are particularly useful for aggregate containers, concrete samples, mineral materials and other heavy laboratory specimens.
60 to 600 kg Capacity Options
The entry-level LT-G4060 provides a maximum capacity of 60 kg with 2 g readability.
Three 150 kg models are available. LT-G4061 provides 5 g readability, LT-G4062 provides 10 g, and LT-G4063 provides 50 g. This gives laboratories flexibility when balancing capacity and measurement resolution.
For heavier applications, LT-G4064 offers 300 kg capacity with 10 g readability, while the LT-G4065 reaches 600 kg with 20 g readability.
Large Weighing Platforms
Platform dimensions vary according to model. The smallest platform measures 45 × 50 cm, while the largest reaches 80 × 90 cm.
Large platforms make it easier to position buckets, containers and irregular specimens. A rigid structure also helps maintain stable weighing conditions when heavy loads are placed on the scale.
Rechargeable Battery Operation
The Digital Platform Scales use a rechargeable battery together with an external power adaptor.
Battery operation is particularly useful on construction sites, aggregate plants and mobile laboratories where permanent mains power may not always be available.
When mains electricity is available, the scale can operate from a 220 V, 50 Hz, single-phase supply.
LCD Display and Tare Function
The digital indicator provides a clear weight reading through an LCD display. The operator can also use the tare function when weighing material inside a container.
The empty container is first placed on the platform and tared. The sample can then be added, allowing the display to show the net material weight directly.
External Calibration
The scales use external calibration. Suitable reference weights can therefore be used for routine verification according to the laboratory’s quality procedures.
Regular checks help detect weighing drift and maintain confidence in daily measurement results.
