Digital Balances for Laboratory and Field Weighing
Digital Balances provide accurate and convenient mass measurement for laboratory and field applications. The product range offers capacities from 600 g to 30 kg, allowing users to select a suitable model according to sample size and required readability.
The balances are suitable for aggregate, soil, concrete and general laboratory weighing tasks. Their compact design and rechargeable battery also make them practical for mobile and site laboratories.
600 g to 30 kg Capacity Options
The LT-G4045 model provides 600 g capacity with 0.01 g readability. For larger samples, the LT-G4046 increases capacity to 3000 g, while the LT-G4047 provides 6000 g, both maintaining 0.01 g readability.
The LT-G4048 also offers 6000 g capacity but uses 0.1 g readability.
For high-capacity applications, the LT-G4049 and LT-G4050 models provide 30 kg maximum capacity. LT-G4049 offers 0.5 g readability, while LT-G4050 improves this to 0.1 g.
Strain-Gauge Load Cell
The balances use strain-gauge load-cell technology to convert the applied load into an electrical measurement signal.
The electronic system processes this signal and displays the result on the large backlit LCD screen. This construction provides fast and repeatable weighing during routine laboratory work.
Rechargeable Battery for Mobile Use
An integrated rechargeable battery allows the balance to operate away from a permanent mains connection.
This feature is useful for site laboratories and mobile testing applications. When mains power is available, the supplied external adaptor can be connected for normal operation and battery charging.
External Calibration
The Digital Balances use external calibration. The operator can check and adjust the weighing performance using a suitable reference mass according to the laboratory’s quality-control procedure.
Regular balance checks help identify drift or unexpected measurement differences before they affect test results.
Under-Balance Weighing
The Liya technical specifications list an under-balance weighing facility for specific gravity tests. The LT-G4050 is specifically identified in the product list as the under-balance weighing model.
This arrangement allows a specimen to be suspended below the balance when used with suitable density or specific-gravity test equipment.
Laboratory and Site Applications
All models operate within approximately 0 °C to 40 °C and use compact 270 × 220 mm housings.
As a result, Digital Balances combine multiple capacity options, rechargeable operation, LCD readout and external calibration in a practical weighing system for laboratory and field use.
