    Description

Portable Concrete Vibrator for Concrete Specimen Compaction

The Portable Concrete Vibrator supports the uniform compaction of fresh concrete specimens inside test moulds. The unit transfers vibration directly to the mould surface. As a result, the fresh concrete settles more evenly and entrapped air can escape more easily.

Proper specimen preparation plays an important role in the reliability of subsequent concrete strength tests. Therefore, laboratory personnel should apply an appropriate compaction method when preparing test specimens. External vibration can help the concrete reach corners and edges of the mould more effectively.

    Strong and Controlled Vibration

The base of the unit transfers vibration directly to the concrete mould. The operator places the vibrator at the required position and activates it for the appropriate period.

The vibration causes the fresh concrete to move and settle inside the mould. At the same time, the process helps reduce entrapped air within the mixture. This supports the preparation of a more uniform concrete specimen.

However, excessive vibration may cause segregation. Therefore, the operator should follow the relevant test procedure and apply vibration for an appropriate duration.

    Battery-Powered and Portable Design

The battery-powered system reduces the need for a fixed electrical connection during operation. This feature provides greater freedom of movement around the laboratory.

In addition, the compact hand-held design allows the operator to move the unit between different moulds quickly. The vibrator can also be positioned at different points on the mould when required.

As a result, laboratories can perform external vibration without relying on a large stationary vibrating table for suitable applications.

    Preparation of Concrete Test Specimens

The equipment can support specimen preparation procedures carried out according to EN 12390-2, ASTM C31/C31M and ASTM C192/C192M.

These standards cover important procedures related to the preparation, compaction and curing of concrete test specimens. Therefore, correct specimen preparation helps laboratories obtain more consistent and representative test results.

The unit is supplied complete with a battery and charger. This package provides the main power components required for portable operation.

    Practical Solution for Laboratory Use

The portable design makes the unit suitable for laboratories that work with different concrete moulds. In addition, cordless operation simplifies positioning and reduces dependence on nearby power outlets.

The operator can move the vibrator directly to the required mould and apply vibration where needed. This makes the system particularly practical for routine specimen preparation work.

As a result, the Portable Concrete Vibrator combines strong external vibration, cordless operation and compact handling in one practical unit. It provides an effective solution for laboratories that require controlled and convenient compaction of fresh concrete specimens.
