2000 kN Flexural Frame for High-Capacity Concrete Testing
The 2000 kN Flexural Frame provides high load capacity for evaluating the mechanical properties of large and heavy concrete specimens. The LT-C2200 uses a strong four-column structure to maintain high stability during loading. As a result, laboratories can perform more controlled tests on heavy specimens.
The frame design also helps limit structural deformation under maximum load. In addition, the system uses a double-acting ram to apply the load to the specimen in a controlled manner. The ram offers a maximum stroke of 420 mm.
Rigid Four-Column Structure
The four-column design helps distribute the applied load evenly through the frame during testing. In addition, the loading system mounted on the upper section supports stable operation at high capacity.
The machine provides Class 1 accuracy from 2% of full capacity. The load cell measures the applied force during the test. Therefore, the system offers a reliable solution for laboratories that require repeatable loading results.
Special Positioning System for Heavy Specimens
Placing large concrete elements into the test area is an important step. For this reason, the LT-C2200 includes a special specimen positioning system for heavy samples.
The machine also includes a 1.5-ton scissor jack. This component helps the operator position the specimen more easily and more safely. As a result, heavy test pieces can be aligned in a more controlled way.
Flexural Test Assembly
The system is supplied with a flexural testing assembly that includes 2 upper and 2 lower rollers. The rollers measure Ø40 × 420 mm. The wide working clearance between the lower rollers supports the testing of large concrete specimens.
EN 12390-5 defines the method for determining the flexural strength of hardened concrete specimens. ASTM C78/C78M also defines flexural strength testing of concrete beams using third-point loading. Therefore, the machine supports laboratories that work according to widely accepted international standards.
Safe and Controlled Loading
When the ram reaches its maximum stroke, the safety limit switch helps protect the system. In addition, the double-acting mechanism helps control ram movement more precisely during testing.
The machine also offers generous working clearances. The maximum horizontal clearance between the columns reaches 1640 mm in the special specimen positioning direction and 1500 mm in the other direction. The maximum clearance between the lower rollers is 2360 mm. These values provide flexibility for testing large and heavy concrete elements.
Reliable High-Capacity Testing
The LT-C2200 combines high capacity, a rigid frame, accurate load measurement and a heavy-specimen positioning system in one testing solution. This design makes the machine suitable for laboratories that perform high-capacity mechanical testing on large concrete specimens.
As a result, the 2000 kN Flexural Frame offers a comprehensive and reliable solution for controlled and repeatable flexural testing in demanding concrete testing applications.
