Description
The method is a mechanized variation of the slump test and includes determination of workability of fresh concrete by performing vibration to concrete after removal of the slump cone. The assembly is mounted upon a small vibrating table operating at a fixed amplitude and frequency. The time to complete the required vibration gives an indication of the concrete workability.
The set consists of Vibrating Consistometer, Cylindrical Bucket, Slump Cone, Graduated Rod with Transparent Plate, Filling Cone and Tamping Rod.
LT-C0042E model consistometer conforms to EN 12350-3 for determining the consistency of fresh concrete by means of the Vebe time. The unit consists of a vibrating table, cylindrical bucket, slump cone, thick transparent disc complete with filling funnel and tamping rod.
LT-C0042A model consistometer conforms to ASTM C 1170 for Determining Consistency and Density of Roller-Compacted Concrete. The unit consists of a vibrating table, swing arm with guide sleeve, test.mold, surcharge assembly with 12,5 kg (27,5 lb) and 22,7 kg (50 lb) weihgts.
