Description

The Liya Test Reflux Extractor Used for the quantitative determination of bitumen in hot-mixed paving mixtures and pavement samples.The bitumen content is calculated by difference from the weight of extracted aggregates, moisture content and ash from aliquot part of the extract.

The Reflux Extractor is available in two, 1000 g and 4000 g capacity models.

The apparatus comprises a cylindrical glass jar, two wire mesh cones with interlocking frames, a water condenser with inlet/outlet tubes, hot plate and 50 filter papers.
