What Is an XRF Pellet Press?<\/h2>\n

The XRF Pellet Press<\/strong> is designed to prepare compact and stable pellets from finely ground powder samples. Pressed pellets provide a flat and consistent analytical surface for X-ray fluorescence and other spectral analysis applications.<\/p>\n

The Liya Test Pellet Press<\/strong> is available in two configurations. The LT-A9750 Manual Pellet Press<\/strong> uses a manometer for load monitoring, while the LT-A9760 Digital Pellet Press<\/strong> incorporates a load cell and digital LCD display.<\/p>\n

Manual and Digital Pellet Press Models<\/h2>\n

The manual model provides a simple mechanical operating system. The operator applies pressure using the hydraulic system and monitors the applied load through the manometer.<\/p>\n

The digital model uses a load cell to measure pressing force electronically. The resulting value is displayed on the LCD screen, making it easier to monitor and repeat selected pressing conditions.<\/p>\n

Both configurations are intended to provide controlled sample preparation for laboratory analysis.<\/p>\n

Up to 250 kN Pressing Load<\/h2>\n

Liya\u2019s current English description specifies a maximum load of 250 kN<\/strong>. This corresponds to approximately 25 tonnes of force.<\/p>\n

The hydraulic system uses a double-flow pump<\/strong>, allowing the operator to approach the required load efficiently and then apply pressure more precisely.<\/p>\n

Pressing force should be selected according to the sample material, pellet diameter, grinding fineness and whether a binder is used.<\/p>\n

Pellet Preparation for XRF Analysis<\/h2>\n

Finely ground powder is placed inside a suitable pellet mould. The mould is then positioned in the press and the required load is applied.<\/p>\n

Under pressure, the individual particles form a compact pellet with a relatively smooth analytical surface. Consistent sample grinding, pellet mass and pressing conditions help improve comparability between repeated analyses.<\/p>\n

Pressed-pellet preparation is widely used for geological, mineral, cement, ceramic, glass and other powdered laboratory materials.<\/p>\n

Pellet Mould Options<\/h2>\n

Liya Test lists several mould diameters for the Pellet Press.<\/p>\n

Available options include \u00d832 mm, \u00d835 mm, \u00d840 mm and \u00d851.5 mm<\/strong>. This range allows laboratories to select a pellet format according to the analytical equipment and sample-preparation procedure.<\/p>\n

Protective Laboratory Construction<\/h2>\n

The pressing area is surrounded on four sides by Plexiglas protective panels supported by an aluminium frame.<\/p>\n

This structure separates the operator from the working area during pellet preparation. The press is designed for bench-top laboratory use and can be integrated into routine XRF sample-preparation workflows.<\/p>\n
