What Is a Petrol Engine Core Drilling Machine?<\/h2>\n

The Petrol Engine Core Drilling Machine<\/strong> is designed to obtain cylindrical core specimens from asphalt, concrete and similar pavement surfaces. The machine allows field teams to prepare specimens directly at the sampling location for subsequent laboratory analysis.<\/p>\n

Its petrol-powered configuration provides an important advantage at sites where electrical power is unavailable. Therefore, the machine is suitable for highways, construction sites, airports and infrastructure projects.<\/p>\n

The LT-AS0013 can drill cores up to \u00d8200 mm in diameter and 400 mm in depth<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Powerful 6.5 HP Petrol Engine<\/h2>\n

The machine uses a 6.5 HP petrol engine<\/strong> to provide the power required for core drilling. Independent engine operation eliminates the need for an external electrical supply.<\/p>\n

This feature makes the machine particularly useful for remote field locations and road construction projects. The robust drive system supports stable cutting through asphalt and concrete surfaces.<\/p>\n

Controlled Drilling Mechanism<\/h2>\n

A manually operated ball screw feed system allows the operator to control drilling pressure accurately. The core bit can be lowered gradually into the pavement, helping maintain a stable drilling axis.<\/p>\n

After drilling is complete, the mechanism also allows the bit to be raised quickly. Controlled movement helps reduce the risk of specimen damage and simplifies repetitive sampling work.<\/p>\n

Stable and Mobile Construction<\/h2>\n

Rubber wheels allow the Core Drilling Machine to be moved easily between sampling points. The rigid lower platform also includes levelling arms that help position the drilling axis correctly.<\/p>\n

During operation, the machine can be stabilised at four separate points<\/strong>. This arrangement limits unwanted movement and vibration, supporting cleaner and more consistent core specimens.<\/p>\n

Integrated Water Cooling<\/h2>\n

A water spray system is installed directly on the machine. During drilling, water is directed towards the core bit to reduce heat generated by friction.<\/p>\n

Cooling also helps control dust and supports longer diamond core bit service life. Proper water supply therefore contributes to more stable cutting conditions.<\/p>\n

\u00d850\u2013\u00d8200 mm Core Bit Options<\/h2>\n

Liya Test offers core bits in \u00d850, \u00d875, \u00d8100, \u00d8150 and \u00d8200 mm<\/strong> diameters. Each option has a nominal length of 400 mm<\/strong>. The operator can select the required diameter according to the pavement structure and laboratory test requirements.<\/p>\n

Core bits are supplied separately from the main machine.<\/p>\n

Sampling According to EN 12697-27<\/h2>\n

The Petrol Engine Core Drilling Machine<\/strong> supports sampling operations associated with EN 12697-27<\/strong> for bituminous mixtures. The standard is listed by Liya Test for the LT-AS0013 product.<\/p>\n

Overall, the LT-AS0013 combines a 6.5 HP petrol engine, up to \u00d8200 mm drilling capacity, 400 mm drilling depth, four-point stabilisation and integrated water cooling<\/strong>. Therefore, road and pavement laboratories can obtain reliable core specimens directly under field conditions.<\/p>\n
