What Is an Automatic Marshall Compactor?<\/h2>\n

The Automatic Marshall Compactor<\/strong> compacts bituminous mixture specimens using controlled impact energy. The system supports the preparation of specimens required for Marshall testing. Therefore, asphalt laboratories can create consistent compaction conditions for different samples.<\/p>\n

Prepared specimens can later be used to evaluate properties such as density, air voids, Marshall stability and flow. Automatic operation also reduces variations that may occur during manual compaction. As a result, the system supports more repeatable specimen preparation.<\/p>\n

Standard Impact Mechanism<\/h2>\n

The compactor uses a hammer weighing 4550 \u00b1 20 g<\/strong>. The mechanism automatically raises the hammer and allows it to fall freely from a height of 460 \u00b1 3 mm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
