Sieve Shaker for Laboratory Particle Size Analysis<\/h1>\n

The Sieve Shaker<\/strong> provides controlled and repeatable mechanical sieving for aggregate, soil and other granular laboratory samples. The system applies a combination of vertical and circular movement<\/strong> to a stack of test sieves, allowing particles to move continuously across the screening surface.<\/p>\n

This controlled action reduces the differences that can occur during manual sieving. It also helps laboratories perform routine particle-size classification under more consistent conditions.<\/p>\n

Vertical and Circular Sieving Motion<\/h2>\n

The machine combines vertical oscillation with circular movement. Circular motion distributes the sample over a wider section of the sieve surface, while vertical movement encourages smaller particles to pass through the appropriate apertures.<\/p>\n

Liya states that the vertical movement is fixed to keep the specimen moving on the sieve surface and to help prevent aperture binding. This arrangement supports faster and more reproducible sieving.<\/p>\n

Digital Time Control<\/h2>\n

Both models incorporate a digital timer adjustable up to 60 minutes<\/strong>. The operator selects the required sieving duration before starting the test.<\/p>\n

Once the selected period is complete, the sieving cycle can be stopped consistently. This avoids manually timing each analysis and helps standardize repeated laboratory procedures.<\/p>\n

Time and Frequency Controlled Models<\/h2>\n

The LT-G0022<\/strong> is intended for routine applications where controlled test duration is the main requirement.<\/p>\n

The LT-G0023<\/strong> adds frequency adjustment<\/strong>. This allows the operator to adapt vibration intensity according to material mass, particle shape and sieving behaviour. The additional control is useful when laboratories work with a wider variety of sample types.<\/p>\n

\u00d8200 and \u00d8300 mm Test Sieves<\/h2>\n

The Sieve Shaker accepts \u00d8200 mm and \u00d8300 mm<\/strong> laboratory sieves. Multiple sieves can be arranged from the largest aperture at the top to the smallest aperture at the bottom.<\/p>\n

During operation, coarse particles remain on the upper sieves while finer particles move down through the stack. The retained material can then be weighed to calculate particle-size distribution. Liya’s Turkish product description also states that the unit can support wet sieving<\/strong> with the appropriate setup.<\/p>\n

Test Sieve Standards<\/h2>\n

Liya lists EN 932-5, ISO 3310-1, ISO 3310-2, ASTM E11, ASTM E323, BS 410-1 and BS 410-2<\/strong> on the product page.<\/p>\n

ISO 3310-1:2016<\/strong> remains current and covers metal wire-cloth test sieves, while ISO 3310-2:2013<\/strong> remains current for perforated metal-plate test sieves. ASTM E11-24<\/strong> is the current ASTM specification for woven-wire test sieve cloth and test sieves, while ASTM E323-11(2021)<\/strong> covers perforated-plate sieves.<\/p>\n

As a result, the Sieve Shaker<\/strong> combines controlled vibration, digital timing and multiple sieve-size compatibility for routine particle-size analysis in aggregate, soil and general materials laboratories.<\/p>\n
