Compression Flexural Frames for Cement Mortar Testing<\/h1>\n

Compression Flexural Frames<\/strong> provide the rigid mechanical structure required for accurate strength testing of cement mortar specimens. The frames support compression and flexural applications when combined with the appropriate hydraulic system, load cell and test jig. Their two-column construction helps maintain alignment and stability throughout the loading cycle.<\/p>\n

15\/250 kN Combined Testing Frame<\/h2>\n

The LT-CE0100\/1<\/strong> combines two different measurement capacities within one testing structure. The flexural section provides a 15 kN<\/strong> capacity for lower-force mortar prism tests, while the compression section provides up to 250 kN<\/strong> for higher-load strength measurements.<\/p>\n

Using separate load-measuring ranges helps maintain suitable sensitivity for both test types. The frame measures 64 \u00d7 50 \u00d7 150 cm<\/strong> and weighs approximately 250 kg<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

250 kN Cement Compression Frame<\/h2>\n

The LT-CE0250\/1<\/strong> is dedicated to cement mortar compression testing. It provides a maximum capacity of 250 kN<\/strong> and can be equipped with different compression jigs according to specimen geometry.<\/p>\n

Its external dimensions are 50 \u00d7 50 \u00d7 150 cm<\/strong>, with an approximate weight of 200 kg<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

High-Accuracy Load Measurement<\/h2>\n

Liya specifies load cells for the frames to provide accurate force measurement. During testing, the load cell continuously transfers force data to the connected control system.<\/p>\n

This configuration allows the operator to monitor the applied load and determine the maximum force reached before specimen failure.<\/p>\n

165 mm Loading Platens<\/h2>\n

Both frames use 165 mm diameter circular platens<\/strong>. The loading area accepts compatible compression and flexural test assemblies.<\/p>\n

Distance pieces can also be added when the working height needs adjustment. This modular arrangement allows laboratories to adapt the same frame to different mortar specimen sizes.<\/p>\n

Compression and Flexural Test Applications<\/h2>\n

EN 196-1:2016<\/strong> covers determination of cement strength using mortar specimens and remains the current published EN edition.<\/p>\n

For ASTM methods, C109\/C109M<\/strong> addresses 50 mm mortar cubes, C348<\/strong> determines mortar flexural strength and C349<\/strong> evaluates compression strength using portions of prisms previously broken in flexure.<\/p>\n

As a result, the Compression Flexural Frames<\/strong> combine rigid construction, accurate load measurement and interchangeable test fixtures for reliable cement mortar strength testing.<\/p>\n
