Automatic Mortar Mixer for Standard Sample Preparation<\/h1>\n

The Automatic Mortar Mixer<\/strong> is designed to prepare cement pastes and standard mortar specimens under controlled laboratory conditions. The machine automatically manages mixing speed, operating time and sand addition. Therefore, laboratories can reduce operator-related differences during specimen preparation.<\/p>\n

Consistent mixing is important because specimen preparation can directly influence later strength and physical test results.<\/p>\n

Planetary Mixing System<\/h2>\n

The paddle performs two simultaneous movements. It rotates around its own axis while also moving around the mixing bowl.<\/p>\n

At the standard low-speed setting, the paddle rotates at 140 rpm<\/strong> while the planetary movement operates at 62 rpm<\/strong>. At high speed, these values increase to 285 rpm and 125 rpm<\/strong> respectively. These are also the mixer speeds specified in EN 196-1<\/strong> for standard mortar preparation.<\/p>\n

This planetary action helps distribute cement, water and standard sand throughout the bowl.<\/p>\n

Programmable Mixing Control<\/h2>\n

The operator can create and store up to six custom programs<\/strong>. Each program can control motor speed, mixing duration and the sand-feeding stage.<\/p>\n

The digital display shows the active program and mixing time. Standard procedures can therefore be repeated without manually timing every individual stage.<\/p>\n

A manual operating mode is also available for non-standard laboratory mixtures.<\/p>\n

Automatic Sand Dispenser<\/h2>\n

The machine includes an automatic sand dispenser. Standard sand is released into the bowl at the programmed point in the mixing sequence.<\/p>\n

This feature is especially useful for standardized mortar preparation because the sand-addition period should remain consistent between different batches.<\/p>\n

5 L Stainless Steel Mixing Bowl<\/h2>\n

The mixer is supplied with an approximately 5 litre stainless steel bowl<\/strong> and suitable beater. The bowl is mounted on a three-point support system that allows precise adjustment of the distance between the bowl and paddle.<\/p>\n

The stainless steel surface also simplifies cleaning between batches.<\/p>\n

Safety and Laboratory Operation<\/h2>\n

A microswitch prevents the motor from operating when the mixing bowl is lowered. The quick bowl-mounting system simplifies installation and removal during routine laboratory work.<\/p>\n

The machine measures 35 \u00d7 50 \u00d7 75 cm<\/strong>, weighs approximately 55 kg<\/strong>, and operates from 220 V, 50\u201360 Hz, single-phase power with a 370 W motor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

ASTM C305 and EN 196-1 Applications<\/h2>\n

ASTM C305-20<\/strong> defines mechanical mixing procedures for hydraulic cement pastes and mortars of plastic consistency.<\/p>\n

EN 196-1:2016<\/strong> defines the standard mortar preparation procedure used for cement strength testing and specifies the corresponding mixer speeds.<\/p>\n

As a result, the Automatic Mortar Mixer<\/strong> combines programmable operation, automatic sand feeding and controlled planetary mixing for repeatable cement and mortar specimen preparation.<\/p>\n
