Core Cutting Machine for Laboratory Sample Preparation<\/h1>\n

The Core Cutting Machine<\/strong> is designed to cut rock, concrete and cylindrical core specimens into accurate laboratory samples. It can also split cylindrical cores into two half-cylinder specimens<\/strong>, making it suitable for rock mechanics, concrete testing and material research laboratories.<\/p>\n

The rigid machine structure supports controlled cutting of long and heavy samples. In addition, the integrated feed and cooling systems help laboratories prepare specimens with consistent geometry before mechanical or physical testing.<\/p>\n

\u00d8110 mm Diameter and 1200 mm Cutting Length<\/h2>\n

The machine accepts specimens up to approximately 110 mm in diameter<\/strong> and 1200 mm in length<\/strong>. This capacity allows users to prepare both cylindrical cores and larger rock or concrete specimens.<\/p>\n

A long V-shaped support system<\/strong> holds cylindrical samples during the cutting process. The specimen support helps maintain alignment and limits unwanted movement while the blade passes through the material.<\/p>\n

5.5 kW Cutting Motor<\/h2>\n

The main cutting system uses a 5.5 kW IP55-rated motor<\/strong>. This power level supports regular cutting of dense rock and concrete specimens.<\/p>\n

A separate 0.55 kW geared feed motor<\/strong> controls the movement of the cutting assembly. The operator can adjust forward and reverse speeds independently. Therefore, the feed rate can be adapted to the material and specimen dimensions.<\/p>\n

Controlled Core Splitting<\/h2>\n

For half-cylinder preparation, the operator positions the cylindrical core on the V-shaped bed. The support keeps the specimen aligned with the cutting blade.<\/p>\n

The feed system then moves the cutting assembly through the sample at a controlled rate. This arrangement helps produce two more uniform half-cylinder sections and reduces unwanted specimen movement.<\/p>\n

Water Cooling and Recirculation<\/h2>\n

Cutting hard materials generates heat at the blade. Therefore, the machine incorporates a water-cooling system<\/strong> to control blade temperature during operation.<\/p>\n

A water tank and pump allow cooling water to circulate through the system. This design reduces water consumption and helps keep the cutting area cleaner. Water also assists in controlling dust produced during rock and concrete cutting.<\/p>\n

Safety and Laboratory Operation<\/h2>\n

A protective guard surrounds the cutting area and helps reduce the spread of water and broken particles. The motor is also equipped with thermal magnetic protection.<\/p>\n
