Laboratory Core Drilling Machine for Sample Preparation<\/h1>\n

The Laboratory Core Drilling Machine<\/strong> is designed to prepare cylindrical specimens from large rock, natural stone and concrete samples<\/strong>. The machine uses an impact-free drilling method, which helps reduce unwanted cracking during specimen preparation. This makes it suitable for rock mechanics, concrete and construction-material laboratories.<\/p>\n

Prepared cores can then be used for compression, deformation and other mechanical or physical tests. Accurate specimen geometry is important because irregular or damaged cores can influence later test results.<\/p>\n

1800 W Motor and Dual-Speed Operation<\/h2>\n

The machine is powered by an 1800 W electric motor<\/strong>. It provides two operating speeds of 1485 and 2720 rpm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The operator can select the appropriate speed according to the core diameter and material characteristics. Lower rotational speed can provide more stable drilling for larger diameters, while the higher setting can improve productivity when preparing smaller specimens.<\/p>\n

Soft-start electronics reduce sudden movement when the motor starts. Current limitation and thermal overload protection also help protect the electrical system during demanding drilling operations.<\/p>\n

The LT-G0606 technical specification lists a coring range from approximately \u00d88 to \u00d8100 mm<\/strong>. This range allows laboratories to prepare specimens for different rock and concrete testing procedures.<\/p>\n

Core bits are selected separately according to the required specimen diameter. Liya also lists several dedicated core-bit sizes for laboratory rock specimen preparation.<\/p>\n

Safe and Controlled Specimen Holding<\/h2>\n

Large blocks are secured with dedicated fastening equipment during the drilling cycle. Stable specimen positioning helps the drill advance in the required direction and supports more uniform cylindrical samples.<\/p>\n

A transparent protection cylinder surrounds the coring area. This enclosure helps reduce the spread of cooling water and loose fragments while still allowing the operator to observe the drilling process.<\/p>\n

Practical Feed and Motor Design<\/h2>\n

The feed lever can be mounted on either the right or left side<\/strong> without special tools. This feature is useful when the machine is installed in a confined laboratory area.<\/p>\n

A quick-change plate also simplifies separation of the motor from the drilling rig. Therefore, maintenance, cleaning and tool changes can be completed more efficiently.<\/p>\n

Core Sampling Standards<\/h2>\n

EN 12504-1<\/strong> is directly relevant to taking, examining and testing cores from hardened concrete. ASTM C42\/C42M<\/strong> also covers obtaining and testing drilled cores and sawed beams from concrete.<\/p>\n

The manufacturer additionally lists EN 12390-1, EN 12390-3, ASTM C31, ASTM C192, ASTM C617, ASTM C39, AASHTO T23 and AASHTO T126<\/strong> because the prepared specimens may be used within related concrete sample preparation and strength-testing workflows.<\/p>\n

As a result, the Laboratory Core Drilling Machine<\/strong> combines dual-speed drilling, secure specimen clamping and impact-free core preparation in a compact laboratory system.<\/p>\n
